Whilst growing up, my mother would always repair torn clothing and amend them to fit their purpose. Clothing would rarely go to waste. This heavily influenced me with ‘upcycling’ and after years and years of collecting Vintage (because I loved the idea I owned a rare piece of fashion and/or I wanted to repair/upcycle it), I started to upcycle them, for myself and to offer to others.

Since November 2016, I have been involved with the University of Westminster’s CES Mentoring Scheme. This scheme offers past graduates the opportunity to become a Mentor to an existing student at the University. Mentors and Mentees are placed together according to their Industry/Degree. I decided to take on this role because having been a student myself, I clearly remembered thinking how great it would have been to have someone who was already working in the Industry to discuss my ideas and for general guidance and support.
Mentoring students from the University of Westminster by providing guidance and support when necessary and helping them make the transition from student to professional / Open to giving advice to other students, looking to enter the Fashion Industry, particularly Design.
After being in the Fashion Industry for over 12 years and working on multiple product categories (from party dresses to denim!), I often find myself enjoying designing dresses the most, the more whimsical it is, the better! This led onto thoughts about designing my own Bridalwear collection. After also being newly married and further exposed to the Wedding Industry, I was certain that I wanted to push my creativity even further and explore a new area.
Bespoke wedding dresses and separates / Bridal accessories / Custom printed Wedding favours.
